We listen when Sign Builders talk to us. Therefore, it should be no surprise that Ventex included all the features sign builders requested when we used our technology to design and build the Ventex Advantage® electronic sign ballast.

The industry requested a more economical, lighter weight and flexible ballast, without losing the intensity of the larger and heavier electromagnetic models. And they wanted the flexibility to parallel wire, use a variety of lamps without restrictions and use on whatever system voltage was available. With these requirements in mind, Ventex created this product to meet these requirements of a more cost effective, lighter weight, smaller size, easier to install and energy efficient ballast for the sign market.

The Advantage® is lightweight, high power factor (energy savings), provides ease of installation with parallel wiring and just one model covers all applications. The Advantage® ballast can drive T8, T12 or Slimline lamps, have automatic variable input voltage from 120 through 277 V and have the ability to drive 10’ T12 lamps with no special ballast needed.

The Ventex Advantage® electronic HO ballast is High Power Factor, High efficiency, and offers the advantage of flexibility in installation.

Greatly reduced wiring for the sign shop. The Advantage® has seven output leads, all 11 ft. long (six on one side, one common on the other to all six lamps).
