This seminar, which will be presented from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Friday, March 28th, 2008 at the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, Florida, will cover existing and emerging technologies that can dramatically reduce energy consumption in electric sign operation.
The host for this tutorial is John Boyd, the President of Ventex Technology for 13 years. Mr. Boyd has more than 30 years in the lighting industry, and is an expert in the field of energy saving technology for the illuminated sign industry. Participants will be informed on how to reduce the energy consumption of electric signs by using current and new technologies, how to evaluate test data comparing different sign technology, and techniques to aid in proper sign design and installation to reduce service calls. The class will also cover troubleshooting sign failures, as well as best practices to minimize production, installation, and maintenance problems and expenses.
